Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1/2 cup onion grated, with juices, about 1 medium
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp fresh mint finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro finely chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp cumin ground
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp pepper or to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400F. Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Roll the mixture into 1-2 tbsp-sized balls and place them on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
  • Transfer the sheet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until fully cooked through.

Notes

I served my meatballs with tzatziki, fresh mint, pita, and crumbled feta.
